Due to circumstances beyond our control the Team GB Athlete that we had scheduled in has been unable to attend school today. Unfortunately, we were only advised at 9.30am this morning by the Sports for Champions UK team that the athlete was unable to honour their commitment to our pupils.
This has been very disappointing for all the children and the school as a whole. Sponsor money that was so very generously raised will of course be given back to the children.
We offer our sincere apologies on behalf of Team GB and assure you that we will be looking to hold a similar, sports related event later in the term.
