This week our Year 6’s have been doing their last practice tests ahead of the SATs tests in May. The tests take place Monday 13th May – Thursday 16th May. These are statutory tests that all Y6 children across the country will be participating in to check that they are at the expected standard by the time they leave primary education. We are only allowed to deliver the tests on the allocated day so it is essential that every child attends on time during test week. We will provide breakfast and support the children each morning so they are prepared, confident and have the best opportunity to perform well. They have worked so hard this year and have all made such amazing progress and they continue to give their best. Well done Y6.

We are continuing to promote the love of reading in school and have ordered lots of new books thanks to the sponsorship money you have all raised. I am sure the children will be excited to read the new additions. Please ensure your child’s reading diary is in school each day and they are reading at home for a minimum of three times each week to help support with learning in school.
