Our provision for children experiencing learning difficulties or who have a physical disability is based on the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice. Those children are given as much support as possible from the support staff and their progress is regularly monitored by the class teacher and Senco using their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Special Educational Needs

Parents are kept fully informed of their progress, their learning needs and the activities being used to support their child. We aim to integrate the child into class activities wherever possible.

Special Needs School Co-ordinator

Miss Layton is the school co-ordinator for Special Needs. Mr George Devlin is a ChairĀ Governor with responsibility for Special Needs.

Certain children with special needs may be referred to the appropriate outside agency with the consent of the parents.
