Christmas Challenge Day – Friday 2nd December 2022!

Each year we ask for your kind donations towards raffle and tombola prizes for our Christmas Fair. This helps us to raise funds for projects undertaken by the children (through the school council) and also our parent council. This year the Christmas fair will be taking place on Thursday 15th December 3.15pm to 5pm. We hope you will be able to join us.

To collect prizes and donations for the Christmas fair we are holding a Christmas Challenge Day for the children on Friday 2nd December. The children will be asked to come to school dressed as Team Santa or Team Elf and donate a selection box, box of biscuits or a small bar of choc in order to take part. All of these donations will go towards the Christmas fair event.

To be in Team Santa the children should come dressed in red or wear a Santa hat. To be in Team Elf they should be dressed in green or wear an elf hat/headband.

In the afternoon, children will take part in a maths multiplication challenge and a spelling challenge. The winners will be counted up and Team Santa or Team Elf will be announced as the overall champion at the end of day assembly.

We hope you will take part in this fun event and help your child learn their spellings and multiplication tables in preparation for the Christmas Challenge. The year group key spellings and multiplication tables can be found in the back of their school planners.

We look forward to finding out which team will become the Christmas Champions 2022!
