Harvest

Home / News / Harvest

Harvest time is upon us again.

Due to the success of previous years, we would like to donate to a local food bank as part of our Harvest celebration -to give to those less fortunate than ourselves.  Therefore, we are asking for a food donation from each household to contribute towards this.

For more information about Local Food Banks please visit: https://traffordsouth.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/

After discussions with our local food bank, we are requesting, that the following year groups contribute one of the following non-perishable goods, if you can, so that we can send a good variety of food types.

(If you have children in several year groups, just choose any one item to donate)

Nursery & Reception: Cordial juice.

Years 1 &2: Tinned meat: hotdogs, tinned ham, tinned corned beef, tinned fish etc.

Years 3: Instant mash potato and Rice.

Year 4: Tinned Fruit. (various)

Year 5: Tinned vegetables.

Year 6: Toiletries: toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, sanitary items etc.
